Alyson and Jonathan's wedding at VanLandingham Estate in Charlotte, NC was a cool Fall November day where the couple hired our violin guitar duet for their ceremony.

Ashley and Michael’s wedding at Graylyn Estate in Winston Salem was a held on beautiful venue grounds while Deans’ Duets string trio (violin, cello, and harp) played for the couple’s ceremony. The September wedding day followed the welcome party / rehearsal dinner on Friday night which we were equally ecstatic to play at.

It was a perfect Fall day as Lindsey and Anthony’s outdoor October wedding was held at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens in Belmont, North Carolina. Lindsey and Anthony hired our pianist and harpist for their prelude and ceremony with a guitarist for cocktail hour. We loved getting to know our thoughtful couple throughout the music selection process leading up to their big day! Anthony is also a musician and producer with musicians being one of the most important vendors to them.

Kathryn and Keven’s December wedding at Jubilee Farms in Chester, South Carolina was the perfect way to round out the last month of the year! The chilly outdoor wedding with 80 guests was held at the beautiful wedding farm. With the weather forecast of high 59 on the Saturday of the wedding, we couldn’t be more excited for the couple’s wedding day!

With the end of 2022 coming to a close, we have had some amazing weddings and events this year! We are so excited to share some of our favorite events from our best year yet.

Camryn and Justus’s wedding at Ballantyne Hotel in Charlotte, NC was held on a sunny March day where Deans’ Duets’s string trio played for the couple’s outdoor ceremony and indoor cocktail hour. Camryn and Justus had approximately 220 guests at Ballantyne Hotel with their string trio comprised of two violins and a cello.

Kate and Matt’s March Merrimon-Wynne House wedding in Raleigh, NC was a bright and sunny day for Deans’ Duets’s violin cello duet.

Deans’ Duets’ co-founders, April & Megan McConnell, started playing the violin at a very young age through the Suzuki method. After years of playing the violin and their love of weddings, it has continued to be such an honor to be a part of so many couples’ wedding days.

From time to time we are asked to take part in inspiration photoshoots as a way to partner with some of our vendor friends and collect beautiful professional photographs of our team members doing what they do best! We were thrilled to take part in this stunning photoshoot at Separk Mansion, one of the loveliest Charlotte venues! Three of our Charlotte violinists represented us well to add elegance and of course, beautiful music, to this fun day!

At the end of the day, the wedding is about being married - not about the wedding day!

Yes - this is so true. BUT…. Wait a minute! The wedding day is a big deal! As wedding vendors, that's our job... to provide the best wedding day you could possibly imagine.

Getting married in Charlotte provides lots of perks: plenty of venue options, great places for your guests to stay, a variety of experienced vendors... the list goes on. We find that many of our clients want to be near Charlotte but not necessarily in uptown. These four wedding venues were brand new to us this year and are great options if you want to be near Charlotte but not IN Charlotte.

The Farm at Old Edwards Inn is a dream venue. We play here a lot and every single experience is breathtaking.

WE LOVE SEPARK MANSION!! Every time we play here, we want to shout it from the rooftops. This is a great venue. Kelly and Jack’s wedding was a beautiful June wedding in Gastonia, North Carolina.

Deans' Duets provided violin music for Jackie and Kristin's wedding rehearsal on June 29th and for their wedding on June 30th. Their wedding was at the Belk Chapel at Queen's University near uptown Charlotte.

Kris and Emily’s wedding was at the luxurious Le Meridien Hotel on the rooftop with a beautiful view of Charlotte.

Emily’s color scheme was so sophisticated, with bridesmaids wearing black, and a touch of white.

It was such a beautiful day.

This weekend, there was so much flooding, and we had to detour around road closings! Thankful for dedicated musicians who persevere and figure it out!

Sarah and Sam were married in this gorgeous ceremony at the Duke Mansion in Charlotte, NC.

The Duke Mansion in Charlotte is the ultimate destination for classic and sophisticated weddings. They only accept 25 weddings a year, so couples have to plan early!
