Getting married in Charlotte provides lots of perks: plenty of venue options, great places for your guests to stay, a variety of experienced vendors... the list goes on. We find that many of our clients want to be near Charlotte but not necessarily in uptown. These four wedding venues were brand new to us this year and are great options if you want to be near Charlotte but not IN Charlotte. The venues are within an easy drive of Charlotte City Center but not actually in Charlotte. They offer quick access to the amazing vendors in Charlotte without being in the city. I expect that all of these venues will continue to grow and become more popular in the coming year! Congrats to these amazing couples, and thanks to the vendors and venues who made such spectular days possible! We always feel blessed to set the tone for the rest of the day by kicking off the wedding ceremony with great music! 1: North Corner HavenDon't you love this ceremony site! This venue is extremely gorgeous and secluded. There is a large space for receptions, which could feel rustic or modern, depending on your theme. It's a versatile space.
The staff at North Corner Haven is great, and they have golf carts to take guests from parking to wedding site, so that no one has to walk far. The lawn area is sprawling There is also a very nice large porch area that is perfect for cocktail hours. Hall & Webb were the wedding coordinators for this special day, and it went perfectly! Proper Flower is responsible for the breathtaking florals as well! Olive Paper made the table papers as well as some signage as well, and Best Impressions Caterers always does such an amazing job. 2: Cedar Creek RanchCedar Creek Ranch is new and growing! Linda, the owner, is so nice and takes great pride in providing such a beautiful venue for her clients. We noticed all the detail that was added in the design of this venue. It all feels new and fresh. There is a fire pit for evening s'mores, a gorgeous lawn for the ceremony, lots of patio options for cocktail hour, as well as areas for the bride and groom to get ready on-site. Twinkle lights abound, and this space offers a lot of options for brides and grooms to design the flow of the event. We played violin guitar duets here, and the duet was a nice choice for the space. We played outside for the ceremony and were able to stay in the same place for cocktail hour, which allowed the music to start right away instead of waiting 5-10 minutes to move to the new location. 3: The Farm at BrusharborThis venue is undiscovered beauty. Beautifully covered pavilion for the ceremony, as well as, a heated barn area for receptions, which transforms easily depending on your style. Both are large areas and have a capacity for a small event or a large wedding of 200+ people. At this particular wedding, we played violin guitar duets for the wedding ceremony! We worked directly with the owners of the venue, and they were so friendly and accommodating! Even though the venue is in Concord, it's very close to Charlotte center city- as well as the Charlotte Motor Speedway and Concord Mills Mall. 4: Sweet Magnolia Estate
We played violin cello duets for the ceremony music at this particular wedding. It was a bit cold outside, so there was plenty of space for us to do our warm-up inside and then move outside right before the prelude music began.
We played ceremony music only, and then Split Second Sound took over for the cocktail hour and the reception.
