November Guitar Violin Duet Wedding at Vanlandingham Estate
Alyson and Jonathan's wedding at VanLandingham Estate in Charlotte, NC was a cool Fall November day where the couple hired our violin guitar duet for their ceremony.
“The historic VanLandingham Estate is a newly renovated American craftsman-style home located in Plaza Midwood, Charlotte. The estate boasts 7,088 square feet of indoor space in addition to a massive 5,600 square feet of outdoor patio space.
Originally built in 1913-1914, the space features an abundance of exposed stone, original fireplaces, stunning chandeliers, an elegant bridal suite, and a fairy tale-like garden on property for your guests to explore.
The VanLandingham Estate is able to execute a range of event styles and layouts for wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate events and more.”
Wedding Day
Our violinist and guitarist arrived at VanLandingham Estate to setup around 2:30pm. Alyson & Jonathan’s outdoor ceremony took place in front of Vanlandingham Estate on the venue’s front steps with 160 of their closest family and friends witnessing the moment. We loved working with Sarah Cook (Coordinator), Nikki Hansen (Venue Contact), and Stephanie Heilker (Officiant).
Violin Guitar Duet
The black tie wedding in Charlotte's Plaza Midwood neighborhood was highly polished and elegant with the couple’s stunning design elements, venue details, and live music. Both the violin and the guitar were amplified throughout the ceremony providing plenty of volume for all the guests.
Some of our favorite song selections from their ceremony included, “Here Comes the Sun” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” The violin guitar duet played “Renegades” for the postlude as this was one of the couple’s favorite songs.
