Graylyn Estate Wedding in Winston Salem

September String Trio in Winston Salem

Ashley and Michael’s wedding at Graylyn Estate in Winston Salem was a held on the breathtaking venue grounds while Deans’ Duets string trio (violin, cello, and harp) played for the couple’s ceremony. We also provided music for the rehearsal dinner dinner and welcome party on Friday!

The musicians arrived on Ashley and Michael’s wedding day in formal black tie apparel. With the property being extensive, we ensured that we arrived early to drive to the main entrance of the Manor House to drop off our instruments in the White Garden. After arrival, we set up around 3:15pm and rehearsed and prepared until 4:30pm. Prelude began at 4:30pm, with ceremony following at 5:00pm. After Ashley and Michael said “I do” in front of their 125 guests , ceremony ended right before 6:00pm when guests transitioned into cocktail hour.

We worked alongside amazing vendors including Megan Hardy (Coordinator) and Cindy Caines (Venue Contact) who ensured that the couple’s day was executed beautifully.

Music

Ashley and Michael’s recessional was one of our favorite moments of the ceremony as “Kiss Me” is so romantic and ethereal. The team was sure to play one to two extra songs for postlude as needed to that guests could continue to hear music as the exited the ceremony and moved into cocktail hour.

Thank you for such a lovely day for our violin, cello, harp trio!
