Wedding at Crooked River in Hiltons, VA
Our violin & harp duet performed at Paige and Taylor's October wedding at Crooked River in Hiltons, Virginia. Their outdoor ceremony with around 100 guests was beautiful by the riverside as the weather called for blue skies and no rain. We loved working with their amazing vendor team and coordinator Annette Templeton. The bride asked that we play modern songs while guests were being seated with traditional songs beginning at the start of the ceremony as the timeline of events transitioned.
The couple’s prelude began at 3:30pm where we started with modern song selections and transitioned to traditional selections in order to signal the ceremony start at 4:00pm. For prelude music, we recommended the following songs:

The harp and violin duet then played “Spring” (Vivaldi) for the family and groom processional, “Bridal March” (Wagner) for the bride’s processional, and “La Rejouissance” (Handel) for the recessional.
Cocktail hour and reception then moved inside the reception space. Not only did we our musicians play for ceremony and cocktail hour, but also for dinner as background music.
Our cocktail hour and reception choices included modern and popular selections such as, “ I Get to Love You,” “All of Me,” “Take Me Home Country Roads,” “Just the Way You Are,” “You Are the Reason,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” “In My Life,” “Carolina in My Mind,” “A Million Dreams,” and many more!
After dinner, Top Tier Band got everyone onto the dance floor as the perfect way to end the night! We loved playing wedding music in Hiltons, VA!
