Violin/Guitar Duets - Wedding Ceremony music in Highlands, NC, at Old Edwards Inn

Sarah & Matt were organized from the beginning of their planning. We were excited when they gave us this song list for violin & guitar:
Renegades (X Ambassadors)
Ho Hey (Lumineers)
Payphone (Maroon 5)
I Will Wait (Mumford & Sons)

Violin & guitar duets are a great alternative to a string quartet, if the space or budget make a duo more possible than a quartet.

It was a long day. We left around 10am, for the 3 hour drive to Highlands. The trees changing colors and beautiful scenery made it a beautiful drive.

Sarah had set up the ceremony in the orchard at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn, in Highlands, NC, with chairs and benches surrounding the bride & groom. It was unique and intimate, and the guests seemed to love it.

We played prelude music & music for bridesmaids & bride. The bride's dad officiated the ceremony too, which made everything very special.

Here's a clip of one of our prelude songs - Yellow (Coldplay) - violin & guitar

After the ceremony, we moved inside to play for the cocktail hour. We mic'd the violin & guitar, and the mood completely changed from the ceremony music. It's nice to have versatile sounds.

As we packed up, bride & groom entered the reception area as husband & wife!
