String Quartet
Gillian and Matt’s June 2022 wedding at Biltmore Estate - Diana in Asheville, NC was so special! We provided a string quartet (violin, violin, viola, & cello) for the couple’s ceremony and cocktail hour. We loved working with Gillian and Matt along with Susan (Mother of the Groom) and Nicole Bloom (Coordinator). As always for both weddings and events, it’s important that not only are we professional, but also accommodating to our couples, clients, vendors, and planners. This ensures that the wedding day runs smoothly and guests enjoy the evening.
The outdoor Asheville, NC wedding located at Diana at Biltmore hosted around 160 guests, with a black tie theme complementing the elegant surroundings.

Before the musicians arrived on property, they arrived at the grand entrance main gate. Once inside the front gate, the musicians drove to the left with the parking area being about a three minute walk to the Diana garden / statue area. Diana is up on a hill overlooking the main house.
After arrival to Biltmore, the musicians set up and warmed up around 3:30pm, with ceremony rehearsals beginning at 4:00pm. Cocktail hour rehearsal followed at 4:45pm, and prelude began at 5:30pm. Ceremony music then began at 6:00pm, with cocktail hour beginning at 6:30pm. We recommended having two of the musicians playing for postlude while the other two musicians moved to cocktail hour. This way once cocktail hour started, the music also began without hesitation.
