2014 Events begin!  February violin solos

Solo Violin Wedding in Waxhaw, NC

I played our first 2014 gig at a beautiful home in Waxhaw, NC. Violin solos were perfect for a small wedding of about 20 guests.

30 minutes of prelude music set the tone for the intimate ceremony, and the bride walked down the staircase to meet her groom as I played Canon in D.

I played "For the Love of a Princess" softly as the couple lit a unity candle, and everyone clapped when the couple kissed. I played "Sweet Child O Mine" for their exit, which is always a fun recessional! Love playing for such great people.

Strolling Violin at VanLandingham Estate

The next weekend, I played strolling violin solos for a Valentine's Day dinner at VanLandingham Estate in Charlotte, NC. There were tables for two set up in three different rooms, and I walked from table to table while I played.

I always try to hide my "gear" so that it doesn't interfere with the ambiance - and so it isn't seen in the background of anyone's pictures. These screens were perfect. And it was close by for a quick snack during my break :)

Here's one of the tables... with snow in the background. So romantic! It was fun to see all the couples enjoying such a sweet Valentine's Day together.
