String Trio in the High Country at the Overlook Barn

Overlook Barn is one of the most popular venues in the high country of North Carolina, and we have the pleasure of playing here often. It’s always such fun to play music in the open air and beautiful spaces of the NC Mountains.

Wedding days in Banner Elk inevitably begin with me driving up the mountain with this delectable sandwich in my lap. It’s not a true Banner Elk wedding unless I stop at The Ham Shoppe on the way up the mountain. If you’ve never been, it’s worth the trip!

After eating my sandwich, I arrived at Overlook Barn to meet Jackie and Emmalee to set up and tune.

Heather and Chris made this cute little sign to make sure guests didn’t miss their turn.

All set up and ready to go! We played violin violin cello trios for the wedding ceremony music.
Paul set up his guitar and portable amp in the Cliffside Barn for cocktail hour and played all Spanish music.
