Caroline and John’s Elegant Mountain Celebration at Lonesome Valley

On April 27, 2024, Deans’ Duets had the pleasure of providing live music for Caroline and John’s beautiful wedding at Lonesome Valley in Sapphire, North Carolina. Nestled in the mountains, this stunning venue provided a breathtaking backdrop for an unforgettable day filled with love, joy, and carefully curated music.
Our solo violinist was honored to perform throughout the entire event, beginning with an elegant classical prelude that welcomed guests with timeless beauty as they arrived and took their seats. The atmosphere was serene and sophisticated, perfectly matching the natural grandeur of Lonesome Valley.
The ceremony music was a special highlight. Caroline and John chose thoughtful, meaningful pieces to accompany their vows. The wedding party processed to “Here Comes the Sun” by The Beatles, adding a warm and joyful tone to the start of the ceremony. Caroline walked down the aisle to the enchanting “Lover’s Waltz” by Jay Ungar & Molly Mason—a romantic, sweeping piece that captured the emotion of the moment beautifully. As the couple recessed as newlyweds, “La Rejouissance” by Handel brought a joyful, triumphant close to the ceremony.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued with a lively cocktail hour, where our violinist shifted the mood to a more upbeat, modern vibe. Guests enjoyed fun and familiar pop tunes, all given a fresh twist with the elegance of solo violin.
The day was orchestrated flawlessly by Allison Taylor of WNC Weddings & Events, whose expertise ensured that every detail—musical and otherwise—was just right.
