Kelsey Philbrick
Lead Musician, violinist
Kelsey, born on Cape Cod and raised in Chapel Hill, is a decorated violinist who resides in Boone, NC. She completed her bachelor's degree in violin performance at UNC Greensboro and recently finished her master's degree at Appalachian State University, where she performed for 2 years as the principal violinist in the Hayes Graduate String Quartet.
As the Assistant Concertmaster with the Western Piedmont Symphony, Kelsey has led 2 concerts. She is an able Suzuki-trained teacher who currently serves as the adjust violin professor at App State while also teaching through the ASU Community Music School.
Kelsey performs often with Deans' Duets in western North Carolina weddings. She performs as a violin soloist in Boone, in violin cello duets in Blowing Rock, and often leads our string quartet in Linville as well. |
