VIOLIN DUETS AT HOUND EARS CLUBOur first wedding was David & Michelle's at Hound Ears Club in Boone, NC. Michelle heard us play at her best friend's wedding and then contacted us for her own ceremony! We played violin duets for the ceremony and also played along with a talented singer and guitarist performing "Love Never Fails" during the ceremony. This was our first time playing at Hound Ears, and we loved it! We worked with Emily Angle Photography as well. Emily was wonderful! ![]() CeCe Hampton Wedding Planning & Design coordinated this wedding. I love that she contacted the vendors a few weeks before the wedding and asked them to direct all questions to her. It created a stress-free day for Michelle & David. VIOLIN DUETS AT CAMP SKY RANCHAfter that wedding, we headed across town to Camp Sky Ranch in Blowing Rock, NC, for another beautiful wedding. This ceremony was such a sweet blending of families. I love when bride & groom's kids are such an important part of the ceremony. We played "Annie's Song" for the bride (Annie) to walk down the aisle. The ceremony was simple and incredibly heart-felt. We felt like we had witnessed such a sacred and intimate time when we left here.
What an honor to be a part of two precious ceremonies in one day! Congrats!!

October 18 - Ceremony & Cocktail Hour (violin duets)We played for Annie & Phillip's beautiful wedding at Camp Yonahnoka last weekend. The Eseeola Lodge's team did an amazing job with the flowers. It was so windy that we thought they would be strewn all over the site, but not one flower blew away! ![]() We just love playing here. It's such a nice secluded spot for a wedding. ![]() It was so nice that they didn't mind if their bridesmaids wore jackets. Bridesmaids are usually really cold standing there in windy weddings, so I loved this nice touch! ![]() We were SO glad we brought our coats! The reception set-up was so pretty. They had a fire in the fireplace and hot apple cider for the guests to warm up after the ceremony. We were thankful to be sitting next to a heater while we played for the cocktail hour :) Then we handed off the music to a band for the rest of the evening.
