July 2014 was such a busy and fun month! After taking the month of June off to welcome our little baby "June," we started things up again with our first wedding on July 5. Wedding at Laboratory Mill (Lincolnton, NC)The Laboratory Mill is a gorgeous venue in Lincolnton, NC. Madilyn and I played violin/piano duets, and I also played the piano for singers to perform "To Make You Feel My Love" and a few others. The groom had just finished Army basic training and was on leave for the wedding, so they had to plan things quickly, but it was beautiful. This venue has a really nice baby grand piano too! We were impressed. I stayed around for the reception to accompany singers as they provided live music as guests had dinner. Wedding at the Chapel of Rest (Lenoir, NC)Our next wedding was on a Monday at the Chapel of Rest. It was a small intimate wedding at 11am where we played violin & keyboard. Such a cute little place off 321 in Lenoir! The ceremony was short and very sweet. We played "Bless the Broken Road" on violin & keyboard for the unity candle lighting. Another successful wedding! Time to head back down the mountain. Saturday wedding in Rock Hill, SC
We used our hand truck for our equipment for the first time too! Harmony Hill Bed & Breakfast Wedding - Sparta, NCOur last wedding of July was in Sparta, NC at this bed & breakfast. The whole house is just gorgeous! It reminded us of Charleston, SC, even though we were almost at the Virginia border. The bride & groom:
