Lead musician, cellist
Amanda has made her mark as an orchestral cellist, collaborative musician, engaging teacher, and dedicated arts administrator. Her blossoming career has taken her from the shores of Maryland’s St. Mary’s River to the cathedrals of Alba, Italy, where she has enjoyed success playing a wide array of musical styles.
Her true passion is connecting with others through music, whether it be performing chamber music with her friends, providing that special touch for a wedding, or simply introducing someone to a piece of music she loves. She believes in the power of music to build bridges and forge connections.
Amanda received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in 2016, where she was awarded the school’s highest prize in music and served as principal cellist of the school's orchestra. She currently lives in Asheville, North Carolina where she performs actively, maintains a private lesson studio, works as a fundraiser for the YWCA of Asheville, and provides concert planning and communications support for Womansong of Asheville, a local women’s choir.
